Godzila Games Pty Ltd (ABN 61 634 812 093) of Newtown, Sydney NSW 2042 handles your personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the 13 Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains what we collect, why, who sees it and how to reach us. We only collect what we need to run a game shop โ nothing creepy.
We do not collect sensitive information and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 15.
To take and ship your order, issue a GST tax invoice, process returns and warranty claims, answer your questions, prevent fraud, and meet our legal and tax obligations. If you opt in, we may email you occasional shop news โ every email has a one-click unsubscribe and we never make marketing a condition of buying.
Only the parties needed to complete your order: our couriers (Australia Post / Sendle) for delivery, our payment providers to take payment, and our IT/email providers to run the site. Each is bound to protect your data. We do not sell or rent your personal information. We disclose it otherwise only where the law requires (for example a valid legal request).
Some providers (for example payment or email platforms) may store data on servers outside Australia. Where they do, we take reasonable steps to ensure they handle it consistently with the APPs.
Your data is held on secured systems and the site runs over HTTPS. We keep order and tax records for as long as the law requires (generally 5โ7 years for tax purposes) and delete or de-identify what we no longer need. No online system is ever 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and will notify you and the OAIC of any eligible data breach as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold โ email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time, usually 30 days. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first so we can fix it. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992. The OAIC is the independent regulator, not us.
